Samsung may upgrade their future phones with a wireless charging chip that allows them to receive charging speeds of 50W. That’s significantly faster than we’re getting with our current phones.
The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has announced that Samsung and Google phones will receive Qi2 wireless charging support, the answer to Apple’s MagSafe charging, in 2025.
The two tech titans are apparently eying slim phones as their next big splash. Thankfully, the race might not slap enthusiasts with an exorbitant bill.
